What is the best way to manage digital signatures created across the Adobe and Foxit platforms?

If I have documents that are previously signed in Acrobat, there isn't a way to clear or delete the old signatures if the document is pulled into Foxit.... you have to start with an unsigned archived version, which may not always exist.
