List segmentation
We are currently considering SharpSpring for our business and clients. Has anyone uploaded existing list to this product? Could you comment on the segmentation capabilities for non-cookied leads?
I understand that the unsubscribe functionality is currently all or nothing, meaning a recipient cannot set preferences to reduce frequency. Have you experimented with setting some level of subscription preferences where they lead can opt out of some but not all emails?
Pre-existing lists can easily be segmented in SharpSpring based on values saved for any given custom field and a bit of automation (Ex. A field, "Favorite Color?", can be used in SharpSpring to short leads into lists "Blue", "Red", and "Other").
This same kind of logic could be applied in the context of list subscription, where a field "Subscription Options" could have a checkbox for each type of content you send out. This field in conjunction with a simple opt-in form could manage leads uniquely based on the type/amount of content they are interested in!
