How can one find out the chances of having requested feature implement by the Smartsheet Team

For example it would be very beneficial to have the capability of time stamping when a task has been completed. Currently it has been requested by many (couple of years) but hasnt happened. How to clear cells programmatically based on conditions. These are just a few. I considered these as valuable features that they should provide projected dates of completing or even if they plan to implement

As with any cloud platform or application, much of the attention given to feature requests depends greatly on the relevance of that feature to the broader user base; the more users (particularly paying corporate users) request a given feature, the more attention it would get. Other factors like complexity a given feature would add would also impact the attention their development team would give it.

Good luck. There are numerous user requested enhancements going back 3, 4, 5, 6 years that would be FANTASTIC, yet they have been completely ignored. Smartsheet also makes changes that remove capabilities of 'free users' requiring more work, cost and overhead, yet either cannot or will not address these changes. I've spent over 40 hours with Support and Pro Desk session since the October update that removed a simple edit to Report Builder, all to no avail. Now I have to spend several hours each week making changes for our 'free users' that they were able to make themselves for 2 years. Smartsheet developers work in a vacuum and don't think about 'real world' enhancements or solutions.

You can sign up to join the early adopter program to test out features being developed currently. You could also write to the design team in the Smartsheet Community to find out which issues are being addressed. You may also want to join your local Smartsheet Users group in your area where you can talk to both smartsheet employees and other users.
