It depends on what you are using it for. For marketing it is great. It gives you visibility into who has visited your website, which person has filled out forms and downloaded whitepapers and promotional materials, and where that material was located provided you have the right subscriptions and codes placed correctly. For sales that data between Contacts and Companies is siloed so you have to monkey with workarounds to be able to sort on the list view. There are a lot of mouse clicks to complete a task and I found it ponderous. There is a forum where you can make suggestions but some of the items I felt were crucial to productivity have been sitting there for several years despite them being voted on by many users. They cobbled together a workaround but it still doesn't address the siloed data which is problematic if you need to view Company and Contact information together and sort it in a certain way. I also found that in my target bast (government industries) using the URL and website completely overrode the information typed into the system and frequently came up with nonsense. A police department would turn into the Animal control unit. Any subset of a large entity would often default to the main entity. I imported hundreds of records and had to go back and manually change them. It would not let you keep your chosen naming conventions (Two Letters for State) it pulled what was available from the website which made the data really messy and hard to keep clean and consistent. I don't know if you have greater control with higher levels of subscriptions. You do have Mass Update which works well for fields, the addition of custom fields is easy and configuring it also simple. If you are at the lower end of the subscription spectrum you have to look at all these fields you cannot use or delete which makes scrolling through some of it frustrating. It is a good low-end tool If you add Sales Starter and Marketing Starter it is much better for the marketing and using templates for sales emails.
