How do you handle crashes when database grows big in size?

I had to scratch my database as the program used to crash. Now I have deactivated face recognition to keep the database size low.

Are you using an SSD drive for your DB? It might be overloading a slower drive. If your DB is that large try a TB + SSD drive.

When mine gets buggy I delete my database then the database gets rebuilt as you access different folders This might be a problem for some folks that use a lot of the cataloging features I do not use these features so deleting the databases isno biggie.
