What is the best way to allow users to safely release quarantined emails to their inbox ?

Currently users get a spam digest when they get an email in quarantined and as admin I have to release to them, we are exploring how best to allow the users safely release the email to their inbox themselves to ensure they receive the emails in a timely manner.

You can set the option in the spam digest for user to be able to release quarantined emails. But before you do, users need to be trained on how to identify good mail from bad. if you have SSO integration, users can go to their own quarantine portal and Release, whitelist and blacklist senders. Quarantine portal will be something like https://YourProofpointTenant.pphosted.com:10020/euweb/login or contact Proofpoint support and they should be able to provide specific details about your environment.

Hi Kadeem, this is Merry from G2. Sorry to hear you're having these difficulties. Perhaps you have the "Require Admin Privileges to Release" setting on? When selected, this option ensures users are unable to release the email either from their quarantine digest email or through their email logs access. Here is additional documentation, if you'd like to read that over: https://www.proofpoint.com/sites/default/files/documents/bnt_download/proofpoint_essentials_administrator_guide_for_end-customers_-_june_2016_1.pdf.
