To eliminate all the font changes when scanning a legal document, ensure that the scanning software is set to recognize text as plain text or use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) settings that maintain uniform formatting. Alternatively, convert the scanned document to a text file and manually adjust the font settings to your preference.

To avoid font size changes when copying and pasting from a PDF to WordPerfect, try the following steps: 1. **Use a PDF to Word Converter:** Instead of copying and pasting, use a PDF to Word converter tool to convert the entire document into a Word format, which can then be opened in WordPerfect. 2. **Paste Special:** When pasting into WordPerfect, use the 'Paste Special' option and select 'Unformatted Text' to avoid carrying over any formatting from the PDF. 3. **Check PDF Settings:** If using Foxit, check the settings for text recognition and conversion to ensure they are optimized for maintaining consistent formatting. 4. **Update Software:** Ensure both Foxit and WordPerfect are updated to the latest versions, as updates may fix compatibility issues. 5. **Manual Adjustment:** After pasting, manually adjust the font size and style in WordPerfect to ensure consistency throughout the document.

Run into it myself. Does the same thing using Word and WordPad. To fix this is just highlight all of the text and change the text size in the tool bar. I will go blank when you select text of varying sizes. This is for Word, don't know the layout of Word Perfect as I haven't seen or used that in over 20yrs. It does not appear to happen if you paste into Notepad. Once pasted into Notepad you can highlight the text again to copy and paste into WordPerfect and the format size should change to whatever size is active.

Hello Thomas: Have you tried saving the file from Foxit PhantomPDF instead of copying and pasting? I use this feature several times a week and it works great for me. Thanks, Kevin

Does anyone still use WordPerfect? When you paste do you have the option to paste as plain text? Like other word processors (eg Word or Google docs). If so, choose that option.
