When using the edit text feature is there anyway to enlarge the box so that it contains all text?

Very often using edit text I will find a box around portions of the paragraph. A word may be in two boxes.

This is a tricky answer - basically no. It just contains the characters that is in the box. On that note - don't forget you can use your enter key to create space and then continue typing. This is my go-to. You can create nice paragraphs in which the spacing is correct this way.
