How well does Trello scale into a larger team?

We are using Trello to coordinate a product team of 5. Can anyone speak to how well it holds together on a larger team?

It's a great solution for smaller teams, but once you have 10 or more hands on this product I think it loses it's efficiency. There really isn't a great way to track and notify tasks effectively on a large scale. For a little more money I would recommend Jira or Basecamp, both scale really well and offer other add-on solutions that fix problems you'll face as the company grows.

You can assign members to specific cards, setup a board for your team to show who is responsible for tasks and set deadlines. Worked well for our 3 person department.

Trello is great for teams 3-10. Or as a consultant to review. Tracking progress on a project and each team members responsibilities is great in trello. But becomes very messy when you have over 10 team members.

It's a great tool. You are able to submit documents, set deadlines and review work by members. It can be downloaded as an app. You are then able to see notifications on your phone. I was introduced to this by an attorney, who uses it in her firm.

Trello scales great for product development with a team of 5. Each user has a username and the ability to categorize tasks as "cards" that they can manually organize into columns with titles - visually similar to how Solitaire is setup, and from there create task action items and comment on each created action item. 5 users actively engaged in Trello works great!

We have about 10 people using it at my company, and Trello seems to be doing well for my team so far. (Knocks on wood.)
