HostGator's tech support has always been poor. Customers cannot contact tech support directly. Even if customer support promised to "escalate" the matter, it takes days for tech support to get back to us by email, and either they've closed the case...
I like that it is easy to use, the plans are cheap and affordable, that there is someone to actually help if needed. The sites run smooth and fast.
Scripted replies that don't align with the questions on chat queues. No way to talk to anyone regardless of the severity of the problem. Chat agents are focused on scripting you answers I think until you give up... most interactions of late have gone...
