kinesis does not have golang sdk. kinesis does not have a good strategy for having multiple readers. Using kafka was much easier for users
I find it an excellent platform to have Managed Kafka, and the flexibility it offers is amazing. I liked the part of not managing the brokers and zookeepers and maintaining good abstraction while maintaining security features and separation of workloads...
