What i really like about google cloud is how well it integrates with other google services, If you're already in google ecosystem for example using gmail, google workspace or bigquery. I used google cloud services daily and everything feels just seamless. The UI is clean and i expecially enjoy the speed and reliability of services like compute engine and cloud storage. Pricing is also very competetive. Even non technical person can use most of the services by google cloud, and for developer its very easy to integrate with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So the only thing i dislike about google cloud is its invoicing and the billing dashboard its very overwhelming. There are times when i could not identify the charges as the services for being i am charged is not clearly mentioned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Google Cloud is one of the most reliable cloud hosting provider, I have been using it for the past 2 years and so far I did not face any issues. Mostly I use Google Cloud Virtual Machine with Static IP, they charge for the ingress and egress charges through that IP Address, the configuration I choose for the VM comes under always free tier and I don't have to may anything for the VM. GCP is most secure and user friendly to use.

GCP has mostly all the Services including all AI services as well.

GCP has awesome library support to use in code as well.

GCP can integrate any products from it's store easily

As a GCP DevOps Engineer I majorly like it's VPC creation as it is only Google Cloud which allow global vpc creation.

Google cloud function is a fantastic serverless computing service, that I've found useful for handling event-driven tasks. The simplicity is what I like most, without worrying about managing servers, just write your function, deploy and leave the rest to Google to handle it. It's extraordinary for lightweight tasks like processing real time events, automating workflow or integrating with other GC services. The scalability is also impressive, functions being able to scale automaticlly, reducing cost based on usage only, which actually is cost effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Altough with all the postives, there are few drawbacks too. There is a long learning curve for someone wants to try. It's easy to set up simple functions, but things are tricky when it comes to managing complex project. Debugging and logging system is functional but clunky at times. Taking my first steps on the cloud was smooth as the interface is intuitive, the documentation is up to date and the tutorials are comprehensive. The cherry on the on top was being able to make mistakes and learn without having to pay as they provided some credits for new members Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing i like Cloud Pub-Sub is that it is a fully managed service and eliminates the need for us to manage its infrastructure. It is also self scalable as per throughout being received. It is slightly more expensive than other messages queues such as Apache Kafka. It is not efficient in processing message sizes of more than 10 MB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
