Literally the only issue I have ever had with Neos is the fact that I can't make a mini directory that allows me to choose multiple options, so I have had to put several mini directories on profiles that may need more than one answer to the question. MyCase has a couple of areas that could use some improvement. The first is MyCase Desktop. This is the file explorer interface with MyCase document management. The less technically savvy people in my office were used to Microsoft's OneDrive and assumed that it would work the same. It does not. Also, we have noticed that sometimes the MyCase Desktop link will simply drop. This may be related to our internet provider (Comcast), but it is a problem that we did not have with OneDrive because you have to reset the link each time. The other issue we have with MyCase is the ability to share an entire file with a client. Currently you have to share individual documents. Well, there is not much that we dislike rather our litigation is handled well from the legal tech software of legistify but also whenever we are in need of any technical assistance we can always reach out to the customer success team whenever we want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Litigation Management is the most efficient tool that we have used for tracking our cases and the real time updates. Using the Mobile App, we can always track our cases and check real time updates through the mobile which becomes very handy for us. There’s a bit of a learning curve when setting up more advanced features, but Clio’s support team and knowledge base make it easy to get up to speed. Occasional updates can slightly shift the UI, but they’re always improvements in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clio Manage has eliminated the need for multiple disconnected tools. We now have a centralized platform for case management, billing, calendaring, and client communication. This has improved our efficiency, reduced errors, and allowed us to deliver a better client experience. It’s also made remote work and collaboration much easier. Filevine's customer service and IT support are essentially non-existent. They maintain a portal to submit features requests and it needs serious work. There are tens of suggestions that are already implemented features but their status stays "open for voting", presumably meaning it will be even longer before Filevine addresses the sorely needed feature requests that have not been addressed.

There are some incredibly silly issues that should be incredibly easy to fix, but the issues persist. For example, if there is a text field for a currency amount, Filevine does not include any commas. This makes it much too easy to accidentally type $1,000,000 versus $100,000.

You absolutely NEED to work with a Filevine Implementation Partner to use this product. Filevine straight out of the box is incredibly simple and Filevine provides less than zero support to Admins working to build their firm's navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As for it being such a thin column going back to several days of notes requires to skip several pages ahead or open a dedicated notes window. I don’t have many negative things to say; I would just like the tasks to be better organized. Sometimes, certain tasks end up at the bottom of the list, even when sorted by date, which makes it harder to clearly see the pending tasks. But that’s the only recommendation I have. I don't see it as a problem. It helps me a lot to keep my tasks organized as a lawyer's administrative assistant. I can easily see what I have pending, and the ways to contact clients are super easy to access. I can leave notes that the entire office can have at hand. Everything is very accessible. This is not a complaint, just an observation. Many of the tools available in the suite are technical in nature and might require extra handholding from the automations team at Neostella. This is nobody's fault. These are powerful tools that require basic understanding of data and business process.

We chose to enter into an enterprise agreement with Neostella and utilize Neodeluxe in a variety of areas that include data quality stewardship, mass updates, and client portal interactions. Our initial focus has been in the mass update area and the tools have allowed us to solve some significant data quality issues both ongoing and post-conversion since our go live in our current Filevine environment. We have also been able to implement a number of creative solutions around user experience through backend automations that overcome some inherent limitations within the Filevine platform. I wish there was a auto reminder for you to do your schedule at the end of the day. Also just because I am really into bein more mindful in the workplace I would love a way to reflect on how we feel at the end of the day or be able to give emotional emojis to a select time to see if there are any consistent times of the day or types of work that bring more joy or stress. While excelling at automation, marketing, CRM (which most other platforms have been weak), Lawmatics ironically has been weak where the other platforms are strong. This included billing, time tracking, document management, and integrations. Over time, Lawmatics has added many of these features, but in some cases they are still unrefined or lacking compared to other platforms. For example, Lawmatic's basica billing/time tracker currently doesn't allow a user to set custom billable rates on a matter-by-matter, or client-by-client basis. Lawmatic just added the ability to sync folders with OneDrive (which I've been wanting!!), but the feature doesn't let you select how the folders are named -- and unfortunately the folder names go as follows: [Prefix FirstName LastName], whereas I would go with [LastName, FirstName]. I think the renumbering option for timekeepers is very frustrating. I understand they want to sell more licenses, but if they would put a dated feature on renumbering, this could solve for that, but they seem to want to keep up charging firms with their current practice.
