The best things how it integrates everything on the mobile app, with the appointments and Inventory and tasks. What do you dislike about AutoLeap?

The unbelievable extra amount of work that is required to do everything. Example: Want to add a part from a dealer to the estimate? Well, you have to build that in your catalog first, set it all up and then you can. Manually sending the invoice, and inspection report when closing the work order should be automatic, not 6 extra clicks.

Everything is layered on something else and if 1 piece is off, the whole thing doesn't work smooth.

The training was non existent and I had to rely on asking questions to the techs via the chat, which is good to have, but when a customer is standing in front of you and they want to go, and you need to message support for something that should have been trained, is very embarrassing.

We were constantly told during the zoom calls we can't do certain things, but after playing around on my own, I found that there was a bunch of things we wanted that we can do, they just didn't tell us, or are not aware that it can be done. I felt talked down to, not really listened to, and my questions during the zoom calls often brushed off and ignored.

The work board is terrible as there is no organization when making work orders. There is no quick way to see what's coming in next, how much time is left in the day available for work. You must go to the calendar for that, but they push using the work board.

The calendar is ok but the pop ups constantly get in the way and that info could easily be in the appointment area. You can't do a 15 minute appt because the name has to fit so it auto adjusts to 30 minutes.

Having a system that requires unique names otherwise it adds a number at the end is silly.

Our on boarding was 4 zoom meetings during tire season where I was only able to pay attention to about 1 hour total of the training, no one came to the store when we went live, just had a zoom call open for support, and only for 1 day.

When they added the second store, my inventory got all messed up and I had to spend several hours fixing that.

They require MOTOR integration and it doesn't accept Canadian vehicles so you have to look up oil and filter information elsewhere when they come in.

After 7 weeks of using the system daily, I have gotten faster but there are still so many steps.

Can't punch techs out if they forget, simply have to wait until 11:59pm for it to auto happen, can't edit times when techs are clocked in, they have to clock out, adjust the time and clock back in which then that time needs to be adjusted, cycle repeats.

Far to many confirm notices that need hitting, and the cancel is the default so you can't even hit enter to pass though, it's more clicking.

Bell notifications are excessive, notification pops for everything you do. Schedule something, move it to another tech, tech punches on or off, finishes, changes jobs. Need to know when they raise a flag, when approvals come in from online estimates, the rest could be separate and less intrusive.

Have to type minimum 3 characters to search and some part numbers are only 2 numbers so you have to invent something so you can find it later Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tekmetric?

Tekmetric is very user friendly, I first experienced using it at a Meineke shop in Arlington Texas, within the first week I could comfortably navigate it and understand it.

The inspection option helps with customer transparency and helps to get jobs sold with picture evidence. The inspections also help cover the shop from liability by providing proof the condition of the vehicle when it arrived.

The way that the invoices are split up into categorized sections helps to breakdown the cost to customers and improve sales.

When I moved to Texarkana and started working at an independent owner operated shop, they were using Mitchell shop software, I was appalled at how convoluted and confusing both the computer setup and invoice layout was. As well as the fact that it did not provide any option for technician inspections or pictures.

I explained to the owner about Tekmetric and how much better it was for the techs, managers and customers. He got this system setup at the shop and it has been excellent.

Tekmetric offers many helpful tools, such as up front loans that can be paid back by taking a small percentage off of every credit card transaction to help during hard financial times as well as many other useful tools and services that help a shop run more efficiently.

I would highly recommend Tekmetric to anyone looking to update their shop software, starting a shop, or is looking for the best option available. It is a very easy system to learn or teach, it has a large number of features and services offered alongside it to help with shop efficiency as a whole, and is a fairly easy integration. What do you dislike about Tekmetric?

One of the downsides of the Tekmetric software would be related to the tekmerchant card machines, any transaction that is processed on a Friday or Saturday will not be deposited into the shops' account until Monday or Tuesday, which can make it more difficult during slow months or hard times.

Another thing I noticed that becomes a little tedious is that after a vehicle is manually entered into the system, entering the license plate afterwards will not decode and enter the VIN, that has to be manually entered unless enter the plate number when the new vehicle is initially added.

It would be nice if there was a quick estimate option where the customer information was not required for when giving estimates over the phone.

Although a very rare occurrence, our shop has run into an issue with retro-fitted vehicles where we can not change the motor or transmission information as it does not match the VIN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recently, our shop hit a substantial financial crisis, Tekmetrics offered services has been instrumental in helping us to stay open and operating. While not a common problem, the picture aspect of the inspections has been a significant help with disgruntled customers regarding pre-existing cosmetic and mechanical conditions on vehicles. Unfortunately, Turo’s customer support is terrible and does not take customer concerns seriously. I had an untrustworthy host who lied to an officer to avoid a ticket, overcharged me for fuel, and displayed dishonest behavior throughout the rental. I reported these issues to Turo during my trip, expecting them to take action. Instead, they ignored my concerns, allowed the host to continue renting, and later deleted my 1-star review, preventing future renters from seeing my warning. While Turo offers an alternative to traditional rentals, its lack of accountability for bad hosts makes the platform risky. If they refuse to listen to valid reports and allow dishonest hosts to keep renting, it compromises the safety of all users. I am a customer of a detailer in Orlando that used Shopmonkey. They decided to move to different software and Shopmonkey gave their text number to a direct competitor in town called Empire Auto Spa. I texted my origional detailer to get a couple of projects scheduled and got a response quickly. Nowhere in the response did Empire communicate who they were. They pretended to be my detailer and never identified themselves anywhere in the thread. I figured it out when I got some calls from Empire, that I did not answer, and then got an email summary of the text communications. The point is if you do business with Shopmonkey just know that when you leave they are going to route your customer inquiries to a direct competitor. If that's not illegal it should be. Its ability to handle bulk pricing strategies and provide up-to-date competitive market data makes it leaps ahead of our previous new car inventory solution. The new car pricing buckets are easy to build and can be as granular as the factory color of the paint on the vehicle; so you can be as particular or as broad as you'd like when strategizing. The description writer allows you to generate new car descriptions quickly and efficiently and the bulk photo management tool makes it easy to upload your dealer custom photos for each unit in your inventory. Conquest can syndicate with your third-party vendors to publish your entire new car inventory spread and even includes the ability to include OEM incentives - both guaranteed and conditional - in your final pricing structure. Conquest's ability to track our competitors' live pricing is also quite helpful and makes keeping up with management reporting significantly easier than our previous solution. What do you dislike about Conquest?

The biggest caveat with Conquest will apply to dealers with multiple stores that carry the same franchises. Unfortunately, you cannot set up buckets to mirror across stores. So, if you've got multiple Chevrolet dealers and you want to price them exactly the same you will have to do this manually per dealer. It's concerning to me that this still isn't a feature with Conquest considering how many dealers across the nation have multiple stores with the same OEMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Conquest:

After having used other products, I really believe that Conquest is the one to go with. That said, if you're not already using vAuto as your inventory solution then Conquest is likely not the route you'll want to go. Keep in mind that Conquest is part of the vAuto group of solutions so it's best utilized with the rest of vAuto's features and integrated across your websites as one solution as opposed to multiple vendors (speaking from experience). What problems is Conquest solving and how is that benefiting you?

Obviously, nobody wants to price hundreds of new cars manually. Conquest allows you to price all of your vehicles down to the specifications you decide upon and then export that price and applicable incentives. This alone is well worth the money for the program as it saves me time when we set up pricing strategies. Conquest also allows you to track specific competitors based on data pulled from across the internet and compare it against your pricing to ensure that you're keeping up with the market. What do you like best about vAuto Provision?

Since 2015 we have had only two representatives. They both still work there and are incredibly hard working and knowledgable. The program itself works very well. It is an extensive program with many different aspects to it, much more robust than other inventory exporters. They evolved very well when the car market changed because of covid. What do you dislike about vAuto Provision?

It is a complicated program that uses a lot of RAM and processing power so it frequently has tech issues. They lost a lot of their tech support people in the pandemic and don't have the best tech support like they used to have. vauto gives us the report generator which helps us with our annual used car writedown. It is our photo aggregator, our vehicle description generator. All our vehicle listings for new and used cars travel through vauto to the rest of the internet. It also is integrated with the KBB buy center we use to acquire used cars. No bulk upload of parts/Tire inventory. Because we are a mobile tire company, we reconvene calls on the road and have to check our inventory. The downsides of CCC in my opinion is that if you work with fleet, you cannot make a profile for them so anytime you schedule their vehicles in you have to retype all of the same information. I hope they solve this asap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CCC Intelligent Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?

CCC is very helpful at solving scheduling problems. It has a great calendar feature to book each customer into the system on the day that they are scheduled, and you input all of their information then so you do not have to go back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PartsTech?

We started using PartsTech a few months ago and have found it to be extremely easy to use, and makes things like "price shopping" so much easier than it would be if you had to manually go to each vendor's website and individually look the part up! Not only has this sped up our workflow as a whole but has made the process of parts much easier for not only myself as a manager, but for the technicians as well. It is also nice to only need to give out one login for parts purchasing, rather than several different ones for all of the different vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PartsTech?
