Stack Overflow for Teams allows my organization to finally leverage the many benefits of Stack Overflow for our internal use cases. We have a variety of platforms that are used across the organization for storing information. The search capabilities for these platforms vary drastically. Stack Overflow for Teams provides a single location where users can search and ask questions instead of executing keyword searches across multiple platforms. In addition to the core features and benefits, Stack Overflow for Teams provides suggestions for improving our content, from writing better questions to effective tag management.
It's helpful to disseminate information for questions for our team so that these answers can be found in one platform rather than through communication over Slack
It's a convenient and organized place to document all of the questions/answers team members have or will have in the future. It's a much more convenient place to record general FAQs that may pop up compared to Slack, Google Docs, or someplace else.
