RawTherapee handles a good RAW development engine and has enough capacity to run color reconstruction algorithms that I use to improve institutional images that I include in my recruitment projects and online fairs. I especially like its lighting control system and its noise attenuation module that manages to give visual warmth and highlight details of photos with irregular lighting –taken in auditoriums or outdoors in events–.

This is a free photo editing software. It has various powerful tools. It is lightweight software. It doesn't downgrade the quality of the image. It is better than other free software competitors.
