There are things together that make it the best. A comprehensive list of programming language choices, the built-in interpreter for running the code, the ability to playback interviews, reports on interviews conducted and even the drawing mode which is sometimes helpful when you want to explain the algorithm or some design aspect. Also I can write my private comments as an interviewer that I can later use during debriefs.
- We use CoderPad for interviewing candidates. I found it to be reliable and syncing interviewees' answers are also prompt.
- My favorite functionality is the lookback function, where I can see when I vs an interviewee engaged on the screen.
