XSplit is super easy to use, with simple navigation and promoting efficient workflow. It supports integration with multiple live streaming platforms like Facebook Live, Instagram, Youtube Live, Twitch etc. With powerful scene editor, broad device support, advance audio filtering and enhancing features, it is a full-packaged software for content-creators like me. It is highly resource intensive software, hence prone to crashes and lags on comparatively low specification system. The pricing model is on the upper side, and can be heavy on pockets for smaller youtubers like me. Accessing its full capabilities require some mastering and experience, hence at times can be difficult for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I just love xsplit Vcam, it is one of few softwares available in the market and it beats them all by long margin, xsplit makes the consumer products for the right consumer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish for 2 things, the ability to make the software to be able to change the camera settings (camera not the app) and makes Vcam works for 2 or different streaming softwares at the same time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was easy to set up and use, so we could get to livestreaming right away the same day. Best thing is that you can connect Zoom to it to have remote broadcasts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The new version of xplit stopped working for me with zoom or skype. I cannot bring another person in on the call and have their audio feed into the livestream. Very poor performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Xsplit offers a whole set of tools: The Broadcaster (and gamecaster as the free version) , the Vcam, Presenter, Video editor and capture. What I do like best is the integration between the Broadcaster + Vcam + Presenter. The broadcaster has a whole range of plugins, sources and other stuff you can download to fill in the screen you are sharing and also show music from Spotify or the Chat from Twitch or from Youtube or both together on the same window. You can also add texts, transitions, some animations and filters to make your presentation look as professional as you want giving your streamings this TV Show quality. They have invested time to develop and upgrade their product and now it is starting to distance itselft from OBS and they have updated most of the plugins giving you more options and improving the performance and resource consumption.
The Vcam I use the most to have my mobile phone camera as another source of video, so I can have someone with their phones walking around the hall and use this as an interviewer while the laptop and the main set is stationary on a corner, for example.
The presenter allows me to have a bit more control of my powerpoint presentations and gives me some control on where to put my camera on the slides and allows me to highlight parts on the screen and some stuff like that.
Ah.. and their customer support is way too superior to the average. They really rock on this part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Broadcaster was too similar to OBS, which is free. And I also don't like that it cannot use all the fonts I have on my computer. I use to install these really cool elegant fonts and sometime I'm stuck into using the same ones over and over. And when you have too many fonts like me, when you need to change the font you have to scroll all the way down to find it instead of typing part of the name of the font and having some sort of search box for it. features of adding videos, stills, and websites also as a virtual backdrop. It has good flexibility in adjusting camera settings Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The XSplit video quality is outstanding during video conferencing. The background removal works wonders and seamlessly integrates with any selected camera source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While it is one of the best green-screen removal software out there, it lacks in performance improvements, as the camera source and background during prolonged conferencing calls experience a ~3 second lag after a continuous 20-minute call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
