What is the best way to avoid updates if you have a paid connection where every click and every byte of download counts

I was trying to run IIS on windows, it was failing. Which versions of windows 10 does support IIS?

I would like to know a little about the plans for the next OS Microsoft will have in store.

Microsoft keeps releasing windows updates almost every week. Other than security and feature updates there are multiple optional updates also released by MS. What will happen in the long run if I don't install my optional windows updates regularly.

I want to work more on Windows but side by side I love The efficiency of Linux so is it a way to use Linux terminal on windows as cmd is still an underperformer.
