It has few connection components that are free. It should have more connectors for cloud components and that should be free. TDV has below best point

1. it allows connecting heterogeneous database platforms.

2. We can make common datamart from heterogeneous database

3. We can provide this common database in the form of a virtual database as well as a web service.

4. we can create a custom adaptor using Java lang

5. less physical code needs to write as drag and drop do most of the work

What I dislike about TDV is the newer version Tibco release is not as stable as the 2 generations back like TDV 8.4 had lots of bugs in web UI. they have launched web UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For any data virtualization, it is very important to manage resources and save unwanted costs to store required data in warehouses. Tibco data virtualization evaluates the data in real-time instead of storing it at some warehouses and also could be connected to multiple data sources and still make it secure for end-user to create views as per their requirement. It's a lightweight component compared to other data virtualization platforms. The administration and user management are pretty simple and connecting to the traditional database is easier.
