What do you like best about Steve AI?

Creating videos using only the text is amazing. I never knew this was even possible. And the videos generated are actually nice with the right images and videos which otherwise would have taken me forever to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Steve AI?

I dislike that Steve AI is saving me a lot of time and I don't know what to do with it:) Jokes apart, would love to see more media libraries integrated including voice-overs which seem very machine-like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Steve AI?

Steve AI allows you to create two types of short videos from text: stock video/photo (Lumen5, Wave.video) and animation (like Animaker and Animatron). Having both capabilities in the same tool is convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Steve AI?

These days, you'll likely want to have multiple versions of the same video for different platforms: wide (16x9 for YouTube), square (1x1 for LinkedIn) and tall (9x16 for TikTok). Steve AI requires you to pay for the same asset for each version. In contrast, you can re-use assets without paying more with Lumen5 and Wave.video Business. That's important for budgets and creativity!

Steve AI launched with basic features missing: re-ordering scenes, duplicating scenes, and transitions between scenes. The gaps may be filled but require a higher-priced plan.

Unless you're willing to compromise, you'll likely want to use apps that specialize and are well-established. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Steve AI solving and how is that benefiting you?

The goal was to create videos with both videos/photos and animation. While Steve AI allows this, the tool has limited capabilities and isn't quite ready. Although, Steve AI is an Animaker product, it doesn't include the full version of Animaker. That limits what you can do. For example, you currently can't add more than one character per scene. My suggestion would be to have 2k and 4k videos in the lower tiers like options, for example - 30 HD videos or 15 2k videos or 5 4k videos. This would be nice! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
