What do you like best about Splunk Platform?
It provides real-time insights and monitoring, which is crucial for identifying and addressing issues promptly. What do you like best about Splunk IT Essentials Work?
Splunk is THE tool we use on devops in order to monitor and get alerts for our digital infrastructure, from our servers to our microservices to our partners. We live on Splunk because it provides alerts, specific detailed notifications about problems, and is a great way to search for the variety of logs that the software provides. I think the interface is rather intuitive and clear to understand as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Splunk IT Essentials Work?
The problem with Splunk is probably with the searching functionality. While it seems to be pretty fast, sometimes it's hard to syntactically pull the data I want when I am doing analysis on a failed program, job, or other systems failure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Splunk Insights is a great tool to let our devops teams monitor infrastructure. I get email alerts everytime some problem or situation crosses a certain threshold. It's transparent, relatively easy to use, and has a great monitoring interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sasy to install and get up to speed in dev enviorment. In an complex enterprise environment, there are hurdles with any product, but the Splunk community, as well as education and docs teams are incredibly helpful resources.
