The way the complete course structure is organized, including the classes, course supplements, assignments, homework (different from assignments), and mentor sessions. Everything is well thought out.
I did extensive research before opting for Scaler for my data science journey and considered many other options (from self-learning programs to low-cost instructor-led programs, to other same-category competitors), and Scaler felt to be the safest bet.
Even though they don't offer a PGP Diploma or MS degree yet, I am sure one can learn the exact set of tools with enough hands-on which is what I believe the industry needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not having a degree course affiliated with a recognized institute even though the fee is at par with most of them. Having a recognized degree would have definitely helped, from a psychological standpoint. :D Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The dashboard UI looks excellent and works awesome. This is the best learning environment which is lacking in traditional education.
2. A well-designed structured learning path that is easy for the student to learn the concept, evaluate the skills by taking immediate assignments and ask queries to get clarification immediately.
3. There are 3 different chat and communication tabs one for a mentor, one for Teaching Assistant, and one for Technical support. This facility provides communication between the instructor and learner very easy.
4. Home tab consists of important notifications that we need to notice and the current learning tree which is presented in a structured manner. Current Events and past events can also be accessed from this tab itself.
5. All classes are an alternative tab to access all the classes with recordings, assignments, and notes too.
6. The leaderboard tab is very useful for healthy competition in batch where we can see our rank and performance.
7. The last feature that I like is there is a performance pop-over where we can access problems solved percentage and attendance percentage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The only feature that I don't like is it is the platform asks more questions regarding the class attended and mentor or TA performance which I want to limit just to a single word whether good or bad which can be discussed again if the review is bad. This idea will save a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
