There hasn't been much downtime with the SAS system. It seems to work fine, with little lag or errors. The system supports a wide variety of applicaitons. Security allows for two-factor authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to navigate is a bit clunky. I can't search for specific menus or functions globally. Finding the right option or menu can be a bit of a chore. There are occasional rendering errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Regarding its features, it is one of the best software of this kind however it is a little over priced. may not be affordable to many companies and individuals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SAS/ACCESS Interface to Impala?

SAS/ACCESS is a module which provides an easy method to connect to others database systems and allow integration of data extract/load via SAS programming. It's very simple to setup the connection to Impala and use all resources.

The performance and reliability is also a good advantage of using SAS/ACESS.

You can use DataSteps or Proc SQL for data munging inside SAS and create automatized processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS/ACCESS Interface to Impala?

This is a feature that make the connection to Impala very transparent using a libname so for security matters the developer needs to be always aware about where the data is being updated/loaded.
