We interview and meet with clients constantly, and require a large amount of transcriptions and pretty rapid turnaround. Rev consistently delivers for us, and has become a go-to service. The transcriptions we receive are accurate and turned around very quickly. Also, Rev's customer service has always been top-notch and proactive, quickly resolving issues. I work on the internal production team at a big company, so we use Rev to subtitle a lot of our employer branding and internal content. We are a global company, so subtitles are crucial. I dislike the amount of emails that I receive. If there is a way to send them every 5hrs that might be preferred. Or if you can choose to send them to someone else, there are a lot of people on the team that use my account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We recommend that if you have long form videos, that you submit them in junks. If editing in Premiere, caption files can be very finicky, so getting them in smaller pieces is normally the better bet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Basically, we are able to work faster and smarter as a result of using Rev. We are able to share what users have said in interviews without losing the time it takes to transcribe those interviews, allowing our teams to make decisions faster. What do you dislike about Rev?

That the transcribers do not always even read the notes that I made for the transcript (like what people's names are), and some times the inaccuracies are just gross. For example, they will write "sea sweet" instead of "c-suite executives". I always have to line edit and check every word before I can use the transcript. How quick it was to get the turnaround of the transcription. It was also really nice to have the names of the people on the side to track everything back to them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rev?

There were some areas where there were missing words, but that was to be expected given the audio quality, people talking over one another, and translation barriers (the focus groups were global).

I also had some trouble paying on the platform. Sometimes it would take my credit card, and other times it wouldn't Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rev helped us really hone in on key insights to take our brand to the next level. Rev is fast, easy to upload (the app is great!) and a higher accuracy rate than other options. The app is also great because it allows me to easily refer back to the interviews and listen to / watch specific parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
