"Fantastic, couldn't run my business without Rev.com"

I create videos every day and use the videos to sell my products and services. I'm a business coach and have just started to really promote my services heavily through Clickfunnels, and all the social media platforms, I've been in business for around 2 years, and since using rev.com my sales have gone through the roof. The major lightbulb moment for me was when I actually discovered this service actually existed! I'd used many apps in the past and found them difficult to use, cumbersome, and inaccurate, but now I have a reliable service, that I can use at any time, with a speedy turnaround. Ive now stopped checking the caption files for errors and the accuracy is so tight Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rev?

speed, ease of website, accuracy - its all very good. I must admit the simplicity of the web interface, drag and drop functionality, quick upload, easy payment window and results delivered to your inbox quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rev?

nothing, everything is exceptional. There is nothing about the rev.com service I don't like. One thing though that I might recommend is that I'd like the option to nominate the specific person to do the rev file captioning - if you have received consistently good service from one person, it would be good to nominate them as your "preferred" person to work with. "Best transcription service I have found"

I have been using Rev since before it was even called "Rev." I had tried all of the others, and when I found Rev, it was like the clouds parted, and I could accomplish so much more with my day. For example, living in southern california, we have way to much commuting time, which can is typically unproductive. I now use that time to record longer emails that might take me hours to write, but only minutes to record. I can send to Rev and I will have in my in-box in short order. I also use Rev to capture my various thoughts on entrepenuerial ideas, laying out problem and business opporunity - which provides me a starting place to refine the idea. What do you like best about Rev?

It was super easy to use and very affordable. I like that Rev was able to accept many different types of digital formats, including very large video files. I think the standard turnaround time was 24 hours and they usually delivered it before that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rev?

The accuracy was not 100%, but I think when you have industry jargon and various accents, that's to be expected. It wasn't too difficult to go back to the recording to correct it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is no other online CC/subtitle platform that comes close to the accuracy and pricing of REV. I highly recommend them for any project. I would encourage all filmmakers, especially indy filmmakers, to give REV a try. We have used other resources in previous projects that had to be reworked several times. What do you like best about Rev?

The service is very fast, always coming in sooner than promised. I think the cost is very fair for the turnaround time. I really like that I can say who is talking and how to mark that up in the transcript. Overall, the transcriptionist captures all minor accents and technical terms -- they definitely use the glossary that I have sent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rev?

The transcriptions are not always perfect. So, I have to spend the time listening to the recordings in real time to catch them, and not just the inaudible parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Do not assume that the transcriptions will be perfect. Use the features that allow you to tell the transcriptionist who is talking and special vocabulary that they might hear. They use this information and it improves the quality of the transcription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rev solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transcriptions are not perfect. I do not expect perfect and make a lot of allowances. However, in one instance, the transcriptionist wrote the wrong word when interview participants were referring to my university. That seemed to me like it should have been better.
