What do you like best about Rev?

I liked the short amount of time it takes to do each job. Sometimes the words need to be edited, but overall very good service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rev?

It's a little expensive. I also dislike that REV censors content and won't do captions if there's any explicit erotica or nudity. I had to hire someone on Upwork for that project, which was to premiere at Outfest and I needed captions for the film. Though I only had to pay $50 to the person at Upwork. "Quick turn-around transcription"

What do you like best about Rev?

Rev is easy to use and my transcriptions always have a quick turn-around time. I also like getting the time stamps to help me with video creation. Typically, the transcriptionist even gets complex and technical terms correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rev?

I've had 8 or 9 audio files transcribed at Rev. One of them had quite a few errors in the transcription. I think Rev would have fixed it for me, but I was pressed for time and just fixed it myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Almost Perfect.."

What do you like best about Rev?

The simplicity of the tool is what we liked best. It's not complicated and very user-friendly. Options to download SRT files and/or transcript documents is very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rev?

The downside, which unfortunately is a big deal for my company, is the security. We have agreements with OUR clients where we are not to share their files off our servers. If Rev had an on-prem option, we would be signing papers already. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish there was a way to apply different languages. Occasionaly our recordings to be transcribed are bilingual and the non-English text will be transcribed with "inaudible." If there was a way to use a second language that would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a fantastic service for quickly and accurately transcribing captions. Since our institution started providing virtual programs we've relied on Rev to quickly and accurately get captions.
