48 Rev-Trac Reviews

Rev-Trac provides control of what configuration and development changes go into your productive SAP system all the way from Development to QA, Training and Sandpit environments. It ensures there are no object conflicts and that changes are transported in the necessary sequence.
It gives senior management visibility of the status of change requests as they are work-flowed through various stages, how old they are, and where any user is "holding on to" a change request (including business users).
Rev-Trac reports are also customisable using your own ABAP Programmers.
We were so impressed with the system in our Australian environment, we convinced our German headquarters to install Rev-Trac in their global instance.
It worked out of the box. Was easily customised to how you want to use it, and never lets us down!
In the rare cases where we may need assistance, or if we want to suggest new features, the Rev-Trac team are only too happy to help.
As the IT Director, I use it every day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

when i first hear about rev trac i was like wow what excellet tool it is.we can easily migrate any numver of TR into one RT in one single go. earlier we have stuggeled alot to migrate each TR but now that time consuming task has been eliminated.we ahve easliy Provide UAT sign off and production relaase sign off and migration to different land scaps easlily . we can easily inegrate rev trac into sap. i'm using REC TRAC in my daily day to day work and it is more easy to migrate TR .REVTRAC support also very efficient and up to the mark. we can implement rev trac easily to any land scape . i recommend each and eavery one to start use rev trac. Recently i came accross some issue in migration. when the tr failed to migrate we are migrating the TR manually , after migrating the TR manully the RT status is not changing to next stage and this is not frequent some time after manul migration it is changing the status not every time. Mostly intuitive UI, crucial way to track and plan for objects moving through the SAP landscape. OOPS seems to work well for the most part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whether it is just our system or whether it's Rev-Trac, we deal with a constant barrage of false alerts from PODS which will eventually wear people down and cause us to let real problems slip through. If we are moving a change from QA to Stage, or Stage to Prod and it's already been tested in that environment, how could we possibly have a dependency due to new development in our Dev environment? These should at least be visible as a much lower class of error or something. It doesn't make logical sense.
It also flags selection screens as missing almost 100% of the time. These just feel like problems we shouldn't have in the year 2025. I know dependency checking is very complex, but there are some simple changes that seem like they could vastly improve PODS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rev-Trac provides a powerful and user-friendly solution, backed by a highly capable and dedicated support team. Rev-Trac has been instrumental in streamlining our SDLC processes. We love the proactiveness and quick turn around time from the sales and support team at Rev-Trac. They are always quick to respond and jump on a call to troubleshoot our concerns. Can't think about any downsides of using Rev-Trac. However, if the integration with JIRA, Redwood, UiPath, Onapsis, Cloud ALM, Qtest, etc could be seemless and plug and play type it would be of great help. Also Rev-Trac should think about incorporating AI solutioning in the future. If the product can analyze details within the TR and provide proactive details/dependencies/sequencing testing scripts etc within them it would be a good feature to have. Rev-Trac has helped us stabilize our deployment pipelines and improve the quality of the products we move to production. The Live Compare tool has been invaluable to help us target our testing to impacted modules and avoid testing code needlessly. We use Live Compare to scope support pack changes and to review changes moving to production. Rev-Trac helps us orchestrate and synchronize changes across 11 different SAP platforms automatically. Releases that require synchronized deployments across multiple platforms are much easier to do now. We're exploring integration with Service Now to further mature our deployment capabilities. My team really doesn't have a complaint list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a convenient and helpful way to manage transport migration in all SAP systems in use at your organization. It's the quickest way to tell where transports have migrated. My organization does not use a lot of the additional features, but the basic transport management functionality is a tremendous help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rev-Trac uses a lot of advanced code and features that can be hard to understand at first glance. You may need to rely on Rev-Trac support resources, all of whom are very helpful, but don't expect to be able to set up everything by yourself unless your sole responsibility is supporting the tool. The standout feature of Rev-trac is its workflow with built-in approval processes, which allows SAP developer to manage code changes without involving SAP Admins. This ensures a seamless transition of code across landscapes. Additionally, the retrofit functionality is a powerful feature that is often missing in other tools, including SAP's own ALM. Overall, Rev-trac is an incredibly useful and user-friendly tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rev-trac needs to address the following issues:
In scenarios involving two development systems, A and X, where A has its own landscape (A -> B -> C) and X is standalone, refreshing system X with A causes Rev-trac to treat X as a development system. This results in transport requests (TRs) not being moved, with the error 'TR not released.' This requires significant manual effort to resolve. If Rev-trac could improve the handling of this logic, it would save a lot of time and effort in the future.
When changing the master system, there's an unnecessary need to recreate all the listeners and webhooks. This is because the system ID is hardcoded during integration creation. It would be more efficient if listeners and webhooks allowed the system ID to be updated or edited when necessary, instead of requiring a complete re-creation. The RevTrac system is very simple to use.
A standout feature is the product's ability to manage parallel developments, and for RevTrac to identify overwritten objects when transporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be complex when managing multiple projects but the overhead is worthwhile in the reduction of the risk profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
