Toad is an environment where data visualization is great. It shows you all the data you obtain and the relationship between them in a very clear way. Another very good aspect is the way you can export data, having a wide range of possibilities (Excel, tsv, csv, and many more). TOAD greatly facilitates the change between environments and schemas. It also has a tool to visualize your database and search for tables or records. (A very useful tool for large databases). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toad For Oracle?

What I like least about TOAD is the fact of not being able to modify the data in the result of a previously executed query. In the same way, when performing a query that does not return data, the previous results are cleared, forcing you to use the original query again. Finally, TOAD offers very few visualization options. What do you like best about Toad For Oracle?

It has extensive features related to the database operations. It has various ways to connect to the database, through tns file or directly by entering the host name and the service name.

Writing packages and procedures is also very simple in toad and also the performance tuning of the SQL statements is easier as compared to the SQL Developer. The Explain Plan provided by TOAD is quite intrinsic and extensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI of TOAD looks very busy, it can be cleaned up a little bit to provide ease of use and better performance for the system and user. This de-cluttering is a major issue with respect to my usage of SQL Developer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
