What do you like best about Oracle Primavera?

This review is for P6 PPM, which is the desktop client version. As far as planning and scheduling software is concerned, Primavera P6 is SERIOUS. For example, P6 utilizes a Critical Path Method (CPM) engine and allows more than one relationship between two activities. Primavera P6 is also SOLID - allows for detailed analysis after resource loading (labor, non-labor, cost) so that the user can compare planned resource requirements against the organization's capacity to determine achievability. Primavera P6 is also MODERN. Oracle regularly releases new updated versions. Furthermore, with the advent of BIM methodology, software integration is the talk of the day - to which Primavera P6 can seamlessly integrate with other leading 4D software. What do you dislike about Oracle Primavera?

Graphical reports generated directly from Primavera P6 look outdated compared to some current offerings in the market - hence why many P6 users resort to exporting P6 raw data to spreadsheets to generate S-Curves, resource histograms, and even dashboards. The Report wizard is initially a welcome feature until one tries to amend such a report - it requires a steep learning curve. What do you like best about Primavera Submittal Exchange Cloud Service?

With the simplicity of the interface and how everything operates, Submittal Exchange is an excellent choice for project management.

Users Contact information are easy to find with the simple dropdown menu option.

What do you dislike about Primavera Submittal Exchange Cloud Service?

Some features that come with alternatives would be nice to give the interface a more modern appearance, but overall it is not something that makes or breaks the overall usage.

What do you like best about Oracle Aconex?

I like how the system is user friendly and easy to navigate. I also like how I can communicate with my peers. Have not tried other systems but I like how quick you can learn how to navigate on the system. Its great for document control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Aconex?

The only thing I disliked was that there is no way to delete documents you have to overide them/void and this can cause confusion on which is the lastest document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle Primavera Unifier?

-I like how is easy to manipulate this Oracle project management tool and the capabilities provided are excellent and helpful on for successful project delivery. Cloud and On-Premise functionalities from the system are perfect, easy task management and flexible on data analytics preparation.

What do you dislike about Oracle Primavera Unifier?

What do you like best about Oracle Primavera?

The best thing about Oracle P6 Primavera is, this is the only complete Project management software.

I have learnt primavera by myself through Learning and Training videos by Oracle Learning website / Youtube channel.

I would say that is also one of the thing I like the most. because , whenever I want to know / recolect what I have earnt, It is always recommended to go to oracle learning that gives the updated information about the product and how to use its new features.

Also, I feel the certification programme by Oracle is very much motivating and challenging.

What do you dislike about Oracle Primavera?

Oracle P6 mobile has limited features. It would be better ifproject tracking and controlling features are also incorporated in primavera mobile application.

The markup tool is not user-friendly. Rare occasions as when the system crashes, and you have to repeat what you've inputted. It is expensive. Uploading files with the correct document properties manually is a chore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
