heavyweight enterprise software great for real-time and no-downtime migrations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Technically complicated, difficult to control during in-play migrations, for monitoring requires further additional licensing and cost with Oracle Enterprise Manager plug-in. Need to employ heavyweight technical DBA's - Only support in Oracle Cloud not AWS or Azure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Best thing about Oracle Integration Cloud is, you can route all you inbound and outbound internal or 3rd party vendors API securely through it.
It also benefits in providing high security to the data transfer.
Another most important thing is, if your end system has IP restrictions, then this is best as you won't need to whitelist all vendor IPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of now we haven't found any issues with this platform, only thing is if logs are too much, it looses them after sometime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Previously we were using so many third-party integration tools and technologies to integrate Oracle Fusion Application along with Oracle's ADF. I worked on Oracle ADF and OIC but I would recommend to the Organizations and the people who are looking for an Integration, don't think, just got for OICS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whenever we needed some new information from Oracle at that time we have to spent more time with some difficulties so I would suggest to Oracle just keep us updating with the latest updates on time so that all the Organizations will check and go for that appropriate needed solution/technology.
To suggest to Oracle I am not that much of experience as Oracle is. But based on my little experience I would recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The prebuilt adapters are very helpful to design integrations. You don't need to know coding or programming language to use Integration Cloud. It's mostly drag and drop with minimal coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We encountered issues with on-premise Agent very often. However, in the new version, the Agent is very lightweight. Hopefully, the issues are resolved with the new Agent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its good middleware consisting of Service bus, BPEL, Oracle BPM layer. You can build SOA based architecture using SOA Suite 12c. Its mature proven middleware suite and support global standards of integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This lack of support for native rest and API first approach. You cant build services as native REST. There is future development happening now. Focus from Oracle is totally towards Oracle cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
API management can manage internal and external APIs. It contains a lot of API management out of box policies which is easy to use. Supporting a microservice model so that the microservices don't get accidentally bound together.

The product continues to improve and becomes more feature-rich. Integration of identity management can be more improved and it can be more lightweight. Moving to OCI would be right approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Code development and administration is easy. It is powerful and can connect to most databases and systems. Easy access and easy load for complex data based in xml for web service-based integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It might be possible to improve user experience. Code services migration and version control can also be improved and streamlined for individual components due to numerous development items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Oracle API Manager is excellent in terms of API development and understanding. It allows our developers to control access to APIs at a certain runtime, which can be controlled by us without major problems. In addition, it supports the development of Rest and Soap APIs, something that many other similar platforms are not able to achieve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Oracle API Manager does not have its own tutorials that explain the use of the software, so the initial introduction as a new user can be overwhelming, especially for international users, since the information available on Oracle API Manager only comes in English. The effective way to manage the APIs is incredible, distributing them the gateway and being able to configure the parts of each client. In addition, it allows the analysis of each API and has the ability to track its use and performance. Its support for API increases the number of platforms that can consume company data, which makes us capable of expanding even more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the online support they offer is not enough and the technical support of a professional is necessary, but since it is a product that is in full swing and development, it is difficult to hire developers and experts from Oracle. On top of that, I have nothing to say. Oracle API Manager Cloud Service is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
