What do you like best about OpenText GroupWise?

What do you like best about OpenText GroupWise?

I like the fact that Groupwise easily syncs with my company/agency iPhone, including mail, appointments, the calendar, and all subfolders in the cabinet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText GroupWise?

I dislike the fact that it does not allow certain convenience features, such as the new "recent items" feature that Microsoft Outlook has, which allows you to quickly attach recently saved or accessed items/documents/files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would just make sure to do your homework when considering what software to purchase for your company's or agency's email needs. Groupwise works because it connects easily and is secure; however, other programs may be better for you if it is ease of use or a feature rich environment that you require. What problems is OpenText GroupWise solving and how is that benefiting you?

Inter-office connectivity is a GREAT plus for using Groupwise, and it syncs even better than competing mail handling programs, like Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about OpenText GroupWise?

Groupwise has features that exceed expectations, but speed of delivery, along with delivery options, was the proverbial icing on the cake! From 'Send' to delivery is almost instantaneous and I love the options for tracking when the email is read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText GroupWise?

The client seems a bit 'bloated' on the PC, taking more resources than seems reasonable. Memory IS cheap, sure, but I can't believe they couldn't streamline it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about OpenText GroupWise?

Nothing from a user interface perspective or from the features. I can not comment on their technology as I don't have that knowledge. But as an end user, I am quite unhappy with the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText GroupWise?

Their email client looks and functions like something from the last decade. It is very slow, hangs quite often, the mobile app is even worse. It is hard to find emails. Also, certain email drafts are randomly deleted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We assume that you are not talking about a client installation, as that is just a run setup and answer language questions. Setting up / installing a GroupWise corporate email system from scratch is an involved task, as it is for Exchange, and you would need to know GroupWise.
