"IBM helped my phone speak."
What do you like best about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

The most helpful thing about IBM Watson Text to Speech is its way of speaking with expressions. It wisely understands where to emphasize and where not to.It is quite helpful in converting random text or e-books to an audiobook form without a person reading the whole book throughout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

There are not much to dislike about Watson Text to speech just that it fails to differ between certain expressions such as "Boooooo" is being pronounced as "Booblublu" which is very minor defect compared to the wide range of wisely interpreted expressions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"my experience was doing tests for text to speech which had a high precision,"
What do you like best about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

The voice quality is very good to produce security, comfort and does not bother or sound robotic for the person who listens to it, I like that their voice and their tones are friendly and smooth.

In addition, another thing that I like is the wide range of characters they give to test before obliging to pay for the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

its accuracy is sometimes not what is expected but it covers very well what was expected within the range of business, for me its virtues sn superior to the things that I dislike of the tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A human inside AI"
What do you like best about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

What i like best about watson is its compatibility and how watson is there for you, when i was working there i had watson all the time and watson would understand and show me what i truly needed instead of spamming my window with products, watson would know and suggest me my routine work items and tasks. The purity or shall i say the transparency is what i like the best. Its not like a shop who'll present anything just to sell and earn for the day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

To be very blunt, i don't remember if there was anything to dislike, watson had helped me so much. But no i can't recall if i dislike anything, maybe i did not try it that hard because there always exist pros and cons! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent interpretation and amazing voice options."
What do you like best about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

Accessibility and ease of use are the main components of Watson TTS. along with a variety of accents and voices to chose from. Watson sounds adequately natural. Moreover, it's a pay as you go solution with a flexible pricing point which enable users to leverage Watson TTS at a fair price.

The other aspects that i liked the most were the support and availability, the Watson IoT SDKs are available in almost every major programming language and despite of your product requirements and implementation, you can just plug and play with it.

Another fun feature of it is it can Synthesizes across languages and voices e.g. Convert in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Detects different dialects, such as U.S. and UK English and Castilian, Latin American, and North American Spanish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

Watson TTS has not much of language options to chose from, you can start with top languages but many are still under production or not available at all. Additionally it is relatively more expensive then other solutions in the market, which offers more language options as well as more accent options to start with. "Transformable Voice - interesting"

Text narration technology is not new but the transformable voice narration was very interesting.

I think that technology would be very useful in many applications like robotics, media content building, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

It looks like there are limited language supports like English, French, Italian, and Japanese.

I know that technologies cannot be invented at once but I feel sorry of the limited language support whenever I encountered a fascinating text/speech technology Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product is multidimensional, The inbuilt capabilities make the work easier. The expressiveness feature makes the product more friendly to the user on the consumer side. Also, the customization feature helps to load in uncommon words as inputs. Overall it's a solid product for anyone using text to speech synthesis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

The price of the product is a bit on the expensive side, which is totally fine if a large organization uses it for its purposes. Also, it would be nice if the product could provide native dialects as an inbuilt feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible and superb!"
What do you like best about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

The ease of use service through api. And ability to change the configuration like voice, speed etc. The facility to test the service through a demo account really helped to test the service. Presence of git hub with ready made code also helped a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Watson Text to Speech?

IBM Text to Speech service that provides the free account trail for a month is hampering to get the overview of all the feature available. How about refining the pricing and offering model. Could be something like full features for a day for the work accounts or school accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
