IBM Netezza is the most powerful and faster DB which helps us to give the better speed for the retrieval of data and since it uses the cloud-based AI-driven architecture which makes it unique to hold unlimited data(I know there is nothing called unlimited).

I have been working on Netezza systems for more than seven years. It is a powerful OLAP system. Worked on all 3 Netezza family systems, and each appliance comes with more power to new generation systems. Business queries performance is far better on Mako appliance. Netezza system is user-friendly, and one can learn this technology yourself by referring to IBM online guides.

There are many areas in Netezza which you can look into to optimize the system like Table redesign, Implementing CBT, queries join conditions, Express/Full statistics and groom and many more.

IBM has provided inbuilt contrib utilities to make DBA work easy and also has good customer support.

If one has little idea about shell scripting then can write many scripts to optimize DBA work.

Also Netezza appliance has a feature of setting up events which will send notification on any hardware component failure for timely replacement.
