What do you like best about IBM webMethods Integration?

The Integrations server IDE, with 9.6 version has migrated from product specific IDE to eclipse based IDE. This is the best part. I also like the components that Software AG provide out of the box. I like flow process, adapter etc.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM webMethods Integration?

What do you like best about webMethods BPM?

We used Webmethods to integrate our LFE quoting tool to our ERP system (BaaN). Written using Java, we were able to get all of our integration needs met. We found it to be a robust solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about webMethods BPM?

We had some issues with performance. This could have been more a result of the the infrastructure and not so much the code or software. I found it time-consuming and painful to troubleshoot errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM webMethods Integration?

At my former company, we used this tool extensively for connecting ERP systems to our software tool. This is an absolutely fantastic tool for mapping data and connecting systems together. At the end of the day, it's a bit cheaper than competing solutions like CastIron, but I've not really found any disadvantages to this tool compared with others despite the cheaper licensing cost. What do you dislike about IBM webMethods Integration?

The interface can be slightly harder to use than one would like. Also, have had some problems on Mac with this tool. This was a bit of time ago, and it certainly was not a deal breaker at the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very powerful and extensible. Out-of-the-box connectors make integrating multiple business systems very easy. Platform is Java based, and allows you to write custom services in Java, which allow you to meet use cases that other "drag-n-drop" integration products can't meet. Interface is a bit archaic, and requires a fair about of training to learn to use properly, but once you learn a few tricks, you can build most of the common types of integrations you'll encounter. This tool is a very powerful integration tool for mapping two (or more) system.
