What do you like best about IBM webMethods Integration?

webMethods is an incredible administration that can permit you to share information between various programming applications and trade messages a great deal simpler. It has a full fledged IDE that gives you access to all that you have to fulfill this. There is obviously somewhat of an expectation to absorb information. I took a shot at a group of understudies who were attempting to use webMethods and we had a little inconvenience toward the starting however by and large had a positive involvement with webMethods Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM webMethods Integration?

As a gathering we felt a general loathing for the way the IDE was setup. A portion of the elements that we would go searching for would be covered up and clouded in a convoluted interface. Others were more straightforward so it was somewhat of a give and take. Lamentably the backing for a venture of this greatness is somewhat missing and when we ran into issues and issues we thought that it was difficult to get help (We are understudies all things considered). On the other side of that since we were dealing with a school venture the application was somewhat thought up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"webMethods : quite good integration platform"
Product Reviewed: IBM webMethods Integration
What do you like best about IBM webMethods Integration?

* Thanks to its easy to learn Flow language, it’s quite easy to build even complex integration processes

* As build on asynchronous messages exchanges, BPM are more robust against components outages compared to monolithic solution.

* Efficient clustered solution

* Lot of adapters Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM webMethods Integration?

* Supervision tool (optimize for Infra) is only a joke at least up to 8.2 : It’s missing lot of important figures to really follow ISes’ health (I built in house monitoring based on Flow/Java probes + PHP GUI which is far far more informative than O4I is providing).

* Every patch campaigns needs long regression testings … due to bug and regression introduced by fixes.

* Starting 9.x, administration tools were totally jeopardized among several interfaces : IS Admin, MWS, Terracotta, UM, …

* not always OpenSources friendly. Especially, web services are quite limited (a shame for such product) and I had to fight against wM to make them usable by PHP WS clients : wM's WS stack doesn't support all variants of WS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Integration Platform"

What do you like best about IBM webMethods Integration?

If you have EDI integrations in your B2B and supply chain management, Software AG webMethods platform is the best fit. It has built-in database (Trading Network) and rules setup and the only thing left to do is mapping (between EDI data and data of other source / target systems like SAP / Siebel CRM) . What do you dislike about IBM webMethods Integration?

webMethods JDBC adapter release has not been updated for years and it doesn't support structure and array. We have to write Java code to deal with this kind of store procedure calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
