I like the high performance of HiveMQ as an MQTT broker which is necessary for our IoT applications. It can handle a large number of messages effectively, which is crucial for ensuring proper device interaction. The scalability aspect of the software is also a major plus in that we are able to expand our IoT structure without compromising on performance. Our cloud platforms are integrated with HiveMQ to make data handling easier and more accessible. I still would like to mention the fact that HiveMQ might be relatively expensive in comparison to other platforms for small projects or startups. This can be a significant disadvantage for some organizations especially those that are just establishing themselves in a given market. Furthermore, the software’s stability is internally high, but outsiders may have to go through a learning curve to familiarize with MQTT protocols slowing the process slightly.
