What is CodeTwo Backup for Office 365?

CodeTwo Backup for Office 365 is a highly secure backup & recovery solution for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business that provides uninterrupted access to your backed-up data and adds another layer of security to your Microsoft 365 (Office 365) organization. The program allows you to back up mailboxes and public folders, SharePoint sites and OneDrive for Business data using an intuitive graphical interface. Configure separate jobs to run full or incremental backups and protect all or selected data in your Microsoft 365 tenant. Thanks to the granular restore feature and advanced search options, you can easily find and restore chosen items (like emails, calendar item or SharePoint documents) as well as entire mailboxes or sites to their original location, another folder, mailbox or site, and even to another tenant. Keep your Microsoft 365 data in local storages or install the program on cloud-hosted virtual machines and perform cloud backups.

CodeTwo Backup for Office 365 is a simple to use tool to help organizations safeguard their Microsoft 365 data but creating a local backup copy. This is useful when users accidentally delete data, or delete it on purpose and find they need it later, or delete it when leaving the company not realising they had some important information. The interface seems slow to respond at times, not that you need to use it often but when you do it feels like you click and wait for something to happen, second-guessing if I had clicked or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CodeTwo Backup for Office 365?

The interface is simple and direct, and the wizards make creating jobs easy. It works both on premises and in Office 365. The biggest feature is the ability to export a backup to a pst. Without that we would not have purchased the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodeTwo Backup for Office 365?

The product lacks the ability to backup archive mailboxes.

Though we can work with the 30 day retention of a license by a mailbox, it would be nice to be able to clear it sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CodeTwo Backup for Office 365?

I have tested the Office 365 mail box backup and C2 Backup facility is very easy and effective way to backup the mailbox. I bought the licence straight away as it was not difficult to make a decision. Also the functionality of making a Backup PST is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
