Cloudify's strength lies in managing complex, distributed applications and multi-cloud environments. However, for simpler or smaller deployments that don't require extensive orchestration and automation, Cloudify may appear as overkill. In such cases, simpler tools or approaches may be more suitable and easier to adopt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really enjoyed the possibility of automating the deployment of IT appliances so easily. It is also a great way to scale up IT environments in a fast way. It is also one of the few platforms that supports TOSCA templates. One more thing that I liked of Cloudify is that it is open source! Cloudify's Community Edition is a great tool to start automating IT services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing special to highlight as a downside... I would only suggest to provide a more detailed documentation of the product. Also, when I worked with the platform some APIs that I needed were't available... but honestly now I don't remember which API it was. It could be that Cloudify's team developed it in the meantime. Sometimes the community version went down, so need to restart again and again. API should be more enhanced to export the logs and status of the deployment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is very intuitive, the integration plugins are awesome and save lots of time. The blueprint definition and edition are great, and you can easily import and export. All possible feature required were considered in the design of the platform, including Sites and Tenant management which is a business enabler Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The look&feel of the platform could be improved, and also shared across all the components like the composer which is a bit different Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use Graphical User Interface, good integration with critical technologies like NFV, OpenStack, AWS, and Kubernetes. You can deploy your NFV's using the Tosca templates as well, which is very handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did not find anything that bothered me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cloudify has a sensible blueprinting mechanism, a clearly defined orchestration process and reasonably straightforward DSL. The python support of Cloudify is a huge plus.
Cloudify support teams are knowledgeable and very helpful. They have a deep understanding of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Community support is hit/miss. Cloudify doesn’t have the market share or breadth of exposure other deployment tools have. The learning curve is steep for first time users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
