For any person considering Cloudflare DNS or related products I would recommend using Cloudflare sue to it's ease of use and tiered service plans that start at no cost so even if you are unsure you can start with the free version and then upgrade whereas none of their major competitors (at least when I was researching the services) provided free levels. What problems is Cloudflare Application Security and Performance solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Cloudflare to help grant an extra level of security toy DNS as it also has easy to understand setup for DNSSEC. Also their easy to use interface makes it easier to ensure that I have all my settings as they need to be in relation to adding services that require the addition or modification of DNS settings to be functional. What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

Completely free DNS and DDoS protection draws you into a world of paid products that are gratefully fairly priced and competitive, especially the brand new Cloudflare Registry (new as in it only allowed transfers before and now allows registrations). As I'm sure many other people will say, Cloudflare is perfect and if you're in tech and you're not using it, that's on you and it's kind of embarassing. Cloudflare is a good option for protecting one's website from unauthorized access by speedily responding to web traffic from sites that hackers could otherwise use to overload your site. Cloudflare serves your website files up quickly and lets you choose which files get served through its CDN. These cached files will respond directly from the visitor's closest data center instead of going via your origin, so they'll go faster and save you bandwidth. When you use a free SSL certificate with Cloudflare, visitors get the padlock and HTTPS indicator in their browser address bar which can improve conversions. Best of all, it's free. Another disadvantage is that it acts as a middleman so if it goes down - even your site will go down with it! If you use shared hosting, you also have to ensure that your host allows access to cloud hosting services. Cloudflare’s superfast DDoS protection and free web app firewall protects you from known and unknown threats and abuses like spam and malware! Cloudflare offers advanced filtering at the DNS level which comes in handy for when you need to prevent your online visitors from accessing malicious sites or interacting with them in any way. Rather than connect directly to your origin server, Cloudflare caches web content at their distributed data centers around the world thus reducing latency for visitors accessing web pages hosted on your site.
