What do you dislike about CloudDevs.com?

I don't like how CloudDevs track the work hours and record screens. I feel very insecure about sharing my screen just to prove I'm working. In my opinion, things like this must be based on trust and can be verified using other methods, such as the client's satisfaction and the deliverables agreed upon between both.

About tracking the hours, it's fair, and I recognize it, but there is a rule (if AFK for 3 min, the counter will stop) that I disagree with because sometimes I want to draw my solution or take some notes on paper, and I can't because of this tracking pausing.

Also, I think the hourly rate could be improved, and the payment isn't very clear. CloudDevs pay each two weeks, but it arrives on the 3rd week, so technically, it isn't in 2 weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CloudDevs.com?

I joined CloudDevs' vetted pool as a senior developer mid-year, and it has been one of the best things that have ever happened to me. Not only is the pay grade fair, considering other people's pay at the same work level as mine, but since I live in a country where the Dolar is very valuable, it helped me a lot! Being a freelancer at such talent platforms also gave me the liberty to have an awesome work-life balance since the jobs are 100% remote. I can even go to the gym regularly now!
