What do you like best about Check Point URL Filtering?
It blocks risky or non-compliant sites in real time with ThreatCloud-backed categorization, and it’s easy to apply rules by user, group, or network segment. The logs clearly show which URLs were accessed or blocked and why, which is great for both incident response and audit reporting. What do you dislike about Check Point URL Filtering?
Some niche or newly created domains take time to get categorized, and a few pages get misclassified now and then. Custom category creation could be more intuitive. Check Point URL Filtering feature is very effective in blocking any URL at a deep level i.e. we can allow surfing but it will block uploading anything from the LAN network.
It has pre-defined URL categories that we can select to block or allow. easy to implement and apply in the policies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

URL filtering in Check Point ensures that the user can access those URL which are allowed by the organization. due to this the limited bandwidth is used in the network and only users only able to access allowed URL inside as well as on global level. We can create blocklists for individual URLs, blocking websites that they know are dangerous or destructive. More broadly, as an admin I can ban entire URL categories, blocklisting large groups of websites simultaneously. This a best think I like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
