"Falters in note organization"
What do you like best about Boostnote?

I also found using my snippets less eye straining than ordinary code by using syntax highlighting. On the same note, the multiple cursor support I have allows editing of multiple parts of the code at once, which is immensely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boostnote?

Folders are clumsy and there is no ability to have subfolders in them. This poses a problem when it comes to organization of notes as it becomes very tiresome having to deal with many of them. It is like looking for a particular note in a folder forest – not quite convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome application for note-taking!"
What do you like best about Boostnote?

There are tons of features that make Boostnote efficient when it comes to note-taking -

1. Rich markdown and latex support with preview.

2. Various export options. PDF, HTML, Text, and Markdown. It supports all of them and also has the inbuilt print option to directly print-out the documents.

3. Highly customizable. It gives you a space to tweak the features that are best suitable for you.

4. Vim keybindings support. It's one of my favorite features as I'm someone who doesn't uses the mouse a lot.

5. Flexible categorization and easy/fast document search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boostnote?

A couple of things -

1. Being built upon Electron, it takes some time to load otherwise it's good.

2. Auto closing tag while writing code in markdown that can't be turned off.

3. Lack of auto-indentation support in markdown code blocks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very interesting project!"
What do you like best about Boostnote?

I had the possibility to test this software in a beta version. I liked the possibility to save and organize my notes whit dev code. Text format is well organized and it helps a lot understanding the code lines you wrote. It does also support many formats like html, plantUML, mindmap, gantt.

The dark theme is also very pleasant for the eyes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boostnote?

As you may expect this software is not in its final form at the moment so there a lot Of little bugs, but the support team is working constantly to fix them. I had a little problems with pdf exports, some text and pictures were missing. Also sometimes it does crash when writing specific lines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
