What do you like best about AWS Command Line Interface?
You can do anything with the cli. It's the most reliable way to manage aws resources.

What do you dislike about AWS Command Line Interface?
AWS has decided to separate functionality into different cli packages. I understand the reasoning but it requires understanding and a separate installation to manage certain services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Command Line Interface?
I like being able to use the AWS CLI to create fast and easy scripts. Anything from assuming of roles to checking status of S3 uploads. We use it to upload backups routinely to S3 of our data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AWS Command Line Interface?
Sometimes, the behind the seasons implementation causes our uploads to crush our EC2 CPU usage. Not sure why. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Command Line Interface?
Allows for quick checks and configurations of our cloud services. We use it to perform cloud watch queries, analyse cloud formation templates and much more. I love that it is well documented and it is split by topics/ services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AWS Command Line Interface?
The only thing I don't love (I don't dislike it very much either), is the fact that the docs are not interconnected with boto/python. It would be best if I can read the docs and then I can have examples of how to do something with the cli or python. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can be tricky at first to get used to so many commands, and learn to use them quickly and usefully, you may find that you are just making it difficult, but after some time, you realize how powerful the tool is offered by amazon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Command Line Interface?
AWS made it easy to install external open source softwares I needed to use for work. The installation process for aws cloud allowed me to bypass some of the headaches of installing my new softwares on local machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AWS Command Line Interface?
The command line interface is a bit hard to get used to. I wish there was a more visual user interface than just command line, because if you're not careful you may forget where you stored certain files and navigation is fairly time-consuming between many folders.
