What do you like best about Automation Anywhere - RPA | Robotic Process Automation?

I like the inbuilt activities and inbuilt variables very much.

I am using Automation anywhere for SAP to automate the repetitive tasks which are done daily, for monitoring the email like sending and receiving mails and for different excel operations.

The 'Control Room' is the one which is most secure thing and from control room one can create Tasks in the workbench, Meta bots and recordings.

'Object cloning' is the one which is very reliable and useful for implementing different business process.

By using 'SAP Integration' one can perform the various SAP Tasks.

For data manipulations I have used various excel activities.

For building reusable components 'Meta bots' are much helpful because we can use it in various project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automation Anywhere - RPA | Robotic Process Automation?

While performing the excel operations I have faced the issue for copying the large amount of data , as it is not possible by using Automation anywhere.

Debugging feature should be improved in Automation anywhere.

Automation anywhere only supports the internet explorer browser, it will be much better if it supports the Chrome browser also.

Apart from the above issues I have no other dislikes which I came across till now in automation anywhere.

Drag and drop allows even a layman with basic programming concepts to start with rpa. Scheduling through Control room is easy. Bot store really helps to get frequently used bots from the internet. Community support is good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Absolutely hate the UX of the software. For example while using a dll for metabot creation , the functions are displays in a very small scrollable window. Some text fields allow selection of fulltext through ctrl+a while somewhere it doesn't work. Too many inconsistencies to ignore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In newer version of automation anywhere a2019 there are so many new features which is been implemented to make the bot more robust. many new features were added in a2019.

Some of the issue in a2019 are as follows:

unable to identify objects some time need to restart the services

Automation anywhere provides robust features like Custom packages, AARI, Salesforce integration, interactive forms, IQ bot, API architecture of the solution ,real time analytics and reports using bot insights, easily integrates with different technologies.
