What do you like best about Apidog?

I appreciate that Apidog has all the tools i need i one location, including the ability to develop, test, mock, and document APis.

What do you like best about Apidog?

1. Saves credentials so you don't have to type them in over and over.

2. Allows you to quickly and easily add/remove parameters

We regularly use APIDOG to ensure that our API that we offer customers is working correctly. It is able to quickly and easily format requests and add/remove parameters. It also helps me to show people in other parts of the business who aren't familiar with APIs what JSON APIs are and get a basic understanding of how they work. This tool was a 'Go-to' Application to test API Endpoints that were being developed by our team. It was also used to make sure that every developed endpoint was available from outside of our infrastructure and in every existing environment. APIDOG is our go-to application for testing all our Rest APIs. It is very user friendly, and has most of the features we look for as devs in testing our APIs. It is also the only testing application we were introduced to even in out Bootcamp as newly hired Associate Software Engineers the last year and no doubt of its capabilities as the whole organization is using it. What do you like best about Apidog?

What I appreciate the most about Apidog is how seamlessly it brings together the entire API lifecycle in a single platform. From designing and testing endpoints to generating live documentation and creating mock servers, everything is well-integrated and intuitive. The UI is clean and user-friendly, which made it easy for me to start working productively in just a few minutes. I also like how it allows real-time collaboration, making it much easier for teams to stay aligned without needing to constantly switch between tools. In particular, the ability to mock APIs and share test cases with stakeholders has been a huge time-saver for frontend-backend integration in our workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apidog?

So far, my experience has been mostly positive. However, I did notice that some advanced customization features for request/response validation could be more flexible. For example, while the mock responses are very useful, configuring them to behave dynamically based on query parameters or authentication states still feels a bit limited compared to what we could script manually. It would also be great if the version control for API definitions was more granular or integrated with Git-based workflows. That said, these are minor limitations and do not significantly impact the overall usefulness of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apidog solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apidog helps streamline the entire API development lifecycle, which used to involve multiple separate tools. Before, I had to switch between platforms to mock endpoints, test responses, and share API documentation. Now, I can do all of that in a single interface. This has significantly improved development speed, reduced onboarding time for new developers, and made communication with frontend teams and stakeholders much more efficient.
