What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)?

Things such as fargate and managed nodegroups compliment the EKS pretty well. Took me less then 2 weeks to finish an all rounded POC using terraform for the entire setup. Would reccomend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With its configurability comes complexity. You would have to learn a bunch of tools such as karpenter to even have the basics of a production grade cluster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Learning curve is high as you may overwhelming ofmany services AWS provides and which one to use

What do you like best about AWS Cloud?

They offere verything at overpriced cost we did Elastic Serach hosting 10K a month moved away from aws cost is 800 a month at better perfomance, someone got access to a key at somepoint we rotated but the account kept getting comprosied and missused we raised 30 tickets to AWS no one care and end up us leaving as a billg over 60K came due to this, where as we didn't consume any of the 60K and again aws didn't care at all... What do you dislike about AWS Cloud?

If you like to pay 10X more for nothing, get no support or pay for a support that goes in circle go for AWS.... we moved to GCP instead which is 10X better... AWS wonder why people uses it? Burning VC money maybe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AWS Managed clusters sometimes enforces an intermittent service degradation. Ideally it should be 0 downtime upgrade but that doesn't happen always. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The essential features of AWS cloud are flexibility and fully-managed infrastructure feature.

AWS cloud gives the flexibility to choose the system configuration and availability. Also, It manages all the backed functionality of the server all by itself. There is nothing much to dislike about AWS Cloud since I have used this for a long time. The only thing which is a must to have when using AWS cloud is the internet. I've been a cloud engineer for a year and continue working on AWS as my cloud service provider. One of the best things that I like about AWS is:

1: its easy-to-use UI and one of the best features is its services; AWS provides almost every product and software engineering service.

2:one thing I would like to highlight at the end is its cost is significantly less as compared to other service providers.

3: AWS has more compliance certifications and security-related services than others.

4:AWS has rich documentation and support, making it easy for users to get started and troubleshoot any issues. AWS offers a range of support plans, including 24/7 support for critical issues of its users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Cloud?

1:AWS offers per-hour billing, and the data transmission format is generally encrypted in the case of its competitor; I sometimes feel insecure.

2:One more thing I dislike about AWS takes 15-20 mins to spin up a simple website.

3:AWS is a proprietary platform; once an application is built on AWS, it can be challenging to migrate to another cloud platform, which may limit users' flexibility and increase costs in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)?

The fact that Amazon EKS is a fully managed service is one of the aspects of it that I like the most. As a result, I can stop worrying about the supporting infrastructure, including the worker nodes and control plane nodes for Kubernetes. All of that is handled for me by Amazon EKS.

I also appreciate how seamlessly Amazon EKS interfaces with other AWS services. For instance, I can use Amazon Auto Scaling to scale my Kubernetes automatically clusters up or down in response to demand and use Amazon CloudWatch to monitor my clusters.

The advantages are that it is a fully-managed service , integrates well with other AWS services, easy to use and scalable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Worldwide availability in all major locations and still expanding.

- Multiple options and features to secure the infra and reduce the cost.

- Need more enahncement in some modules to download the data like S3 buckets as per the last used.
