I like the most about Akamai Secure Access Service Edge(SASE) is it provides a cloud native solutions for securiry and networking which can be integrated with polular cloud providers like GCP, AWS, Azure etc.. It also provides better performance and security on their private edge network in which it provides wide variety of encryption methods to get application security from any attacks. If out application will be hosted on on-premises server then to manage app's networking and security might be complex on Akamai SASE, as it doesn't provide their own suggestions on top of it as a best practices which other popular cloud provders does, that might impact performance and network issue to the user. Therir Policy-Based Access Control facility ensures that the right people have access to the right resources. The management is simplified which reduced the complexity of the security stack.
