How easy it is to browse around web interface and easily peek at topics, seeing performance and such. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aiven for Apache Kafka?

It would be nice if it was possible to actually trigger messages on topics, and peak at individual messages from topic in the web gui, but maybe that is already possible? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi and thanks for the feedback!

Just wanted to respond to your question. I spoke with one of the members of our engineering team and this is actually possible. If you're talking about producing messages in the former statement, this can be done in the topics tab (between the ACL and Connectors tabs) in the Kafka UI. For the former, it's still the same tab. Every topic is represented as a row and if you look at the far right where there are three reddish icons, you'll notice the one that looks like a download icon — it will actually show you the individual messages. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out via our chat bubble!
