Ease of setup and maintenance. Aiven really takes out the complexity for us to host Kafka.

The setup is very reliable and can be easily scaled without any interruptions.

Their support team is quick to react and do an outstanding job.

It was straightforward to get a cluster started and get a proof of concept working. Also, the all-inclusive billing model is great when trying to determine costs for budget planning. The main thing that it didn't have versus some of the other services we evaluated was the number of built-in connectors. For example having support for a Kafka Connect Lambda Sink would have been beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think Aiven is set up quite well to support infrastructure as code - more so than other Kafka providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aiven for Apache Kafka?

I think our company's experience with customer support has been a bit rough. There have been a number of times where we experienced issues with out cluster and nobody seemed to be able to figure out what was wrong, so we just had to try a bunch of things until something worked.
